Healing Touch is a modality developed by research nurses that treats the whole person. Practitioners use light touch and hands above the body to assist in restoring the body’s natural energy system. Healing Touch sessions may also be performed at a distance.

Worked as a master’s level special educator K-12 students with disabilities, academic and behavior problems, specializing in behavioral analysis and interventions.
In 2006-2007, I had 1.5 years of intensive medical interventions (surgeries and chemotherapy) for a fast moving breast cancer, then was pronounced cured.
Through my cancer experience, I became a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, an Advanced Apprentice with Cyndi Dale and a Reiki II Practitioner.
Diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia in the 2000s, in 2021 I completed the Vocal Freedom Program, opening up my voice and reclaiming my ability to be heard.
Extensive travel and business experience as an educational program coordinator, worked as a legal admin in Washington DC, and also worked for five years as Intensive Care Unit clerk while in graduate school.
In 2018, I wrote a novel, The Lost Art. I am now working on other solo writing projects. I work as an editor and collaborator with other writers and artists.
Mine is a joyful 22 year marriage of equals; we are both poets and writers. We have a loving relationship with our adult son who works in online marketing.
